February updates

Some new sponsors from the Methow Valley have joined on...Thank you!!!  Nordic Ski Source in Bozeman, Wild Bear Designs, Geyser Whitewater, Bikram Yoga of Bozeman and Signs of the Mountains have also recently provided sponorship for the Equinox this year.

Registration is continuing...steady number of folks signing up, lots of solos and a few combo soloist choosing to ski and bike. 

Remember, price bump happens March 1.  Register prior to March 1 and save some $$.

Hi all,

We have participants registered from Idaho, Montana, Colorado and New Mexico!  As of Jan 30th, there are 3 solo 24 Hour snowbikers, 2 on a duo 24 Hour snowbike team, a 24 Hour team of 8 skiers, and several 24 Hour solo skiers along with some 12 Hour solo skiers.  Registration looks more full than previous years at this time when there were 85-90 folks on the start line.  We will see!

Lone Peak Physical Therapy sets the bar....

Lone Peak Physical Therapy has entered a team of 8 for the 24 Hour event!  We also have a 24 Hour solo biker on the roster and a 24 Hour duo biker team from Colorado on board...seems like it might be a full start line this year. 

Grand Targhee Snowbike Race

If anyone missed the Grand Targhee snowbike race, they missed a good time.  Excellent course, 45 participants, great weather, fast riding, awesome prizes....Thanks to Andy at Targhee for getting bikes on the trails there and to all the Teton Valley riders and shops who are putting the snowbike community in a good standing in the Greater Yellowstone area.

2012 updates

Hello all,

-Skiers, bikers and foot participants are officially welcomed to the 2012 Equinox Snow Challenge.  Registration will open January 1st.  There are field limits on the bike and foot divisions.

2012 Equinox Ski/Snow Challenge

Welcome skiers! And runners and snowshoers and snowbikers!  We are excited to be presenting the 6th Annual Equinox Ski Challenge with some new additions this year in the way of new divisions for runners, snowbikers and snowshoers.  New divisions are pending on permits and insurance still, but we will keep all posted.  In the meantime, enjoy the changing of the seasons. 

Potluck

The grill will get going around 6pm on Saturday, and everyone is invited!

A-F bring salad or pasta/grains, G-M bring grilling items, N-S bring beverages, and T-Z bring desserts. 

A microwave and a faucet with warm water are available inside the trailhead building for racers. 

Aid Station- At the start/finish and will be stocked with a limited supply of bananas, mini ClifBars, water, gatorade and potato chips.
